As I see it, Mary, the widow of James Rossiter b. 1852 (son of Bridget and James Rossiter) had 4 children.
Mary E,
Jennie
James
Frank
Children Mary E., Jennie and James listed on the 1880 census with parents Mary and James.
James must have died prior to 1900 as Mary is now a widow with children James and Frank living with her. Mary states she had 4 children 4 living in the 1900 census.
Mary, widow of James b. 1852 marries George Dyer.
