Re: Lewis County connections to Alsace Lorraine

My family originally migrated from Alsace-Lorraine, however, I don't believe they wound up in Lewis County. My family name, Bayres, which I took back upon my divorce, is not a normal spelling for the name. I have found a few references to other people with the same last name. If anyone responds to your email with the name of Bayres, I would appreciate hearing from you. I will try to do anything I can to help you with your quest as well.

Thanks
