Looking for information about and relatives of 4 World War 1 soldiers from Westchester county, killed in action and buried in Belgium. Frederick Ayers from Mount Vernon (died November 5, 1918 – lived at 320, Locust Street – father’s name also Frederick). Harry Dingee from Tarrytown (killed in action November 3, 1918 – his mother lived at 94 Wildey Street). Emil Lang from Chauncey (killed in action October 31, 1918 – entered probably service in Montana). Herbert Winslow from Hastings-on- Hudson (killed in action August 13, 1918 – his father was probably a play writer).
They are buried in the US military Flanders Field Cemetery in Belgium. Perhaps a Roll of Honor book of the county was made ??
Purpose: writing a book about those forgotten WW1 soldiers in Flanders Field
