Anna Van Curen - 1860s - NY/MI

Hello there - I am looking for this woman, who would be my great-great-aunt. I do not know much about her background, except that her maiden name was Van Curen. She married a James Pittman Miller in 1868, Detroit, Michigan. They had three children: Ella, Lettie, and Clyde, all of Redford Township, Wayne Co., MI, none of whom are alive today. I have been told that Van Curen is either Dutch or German, and that they originated from New York state before dispersing to different regions. If so, could someone tell me the background on their name, and if an Anna born sometime around 1847 or so in Michigan or NY ever made it to Wayne Co?

Thanks so much!!

Debbie Miller Holth
