I believe you have the wrong Martha Jane PORTER. Yes, one did arrived in NY City through Ellis Island in 1892 aboard the ship:City of Rome from Moville.-county Sligo

However, as a previous correspondent has already told you the Martha J. LATHAM, married to James LATHAM arrived in 1881 and was naturalized in 1888. Someone who came in 1881 was processed through Castle Clinton not Ellis Island. The previous correspondent graciously advised you of possible procedure to acquire Martha's naturalization papers in the county courthouse and even gave several helpful Internet links for researching immigrants.
One might have to do some hard research of one's own.
