Lois, Here is the 1870 census record for the Sine family. I tried to find Philip on the 1900 census but he does not show on the index. That census is the only one that gives the birth year & month. In 1870 next door to the Sine family was a Peter NUCH who was 59 & born in Germany. His wife was Kate, 56, b. Germany & they had a daughter Mary, 19, also born in Germany. It`s possible these people are related to the Sine/Sime family. Also, I found the Simes in 1860 in Croghan. I`ll type that up below, too.
