I am adding this message on John Howard Family.Mary Ann Howard Married Renesslaer Lamb at Stockbridge,Oneida Co., New York, July 09, 1824. She was born at Brookfield, Connecticut, July 27, 1807. She wrote that she new little about her mother and her last name. She mentions her mothers given name was Halda. I have found another sourse as Heildah but no last name. I believe the family were moving from Rhode Island when Mary Ann was born. She was born in Brookfield,Connecticut, July 27, 1807. In early Census matches children and ages. The following are her brothers and sisters. Abbie married Elisha Thompson, Louisa married Judson Howard, no relative, Thankful died unmarried, Elizabeth Jane married John Elliott, Clarissa married William Nelson. The brothers were John who resided with his sister, Clarrisa, and husband and never married. Russell Howard fought in Civil War and was killed in action. The last brother was Warren Howard. The family first lived in Smithfield, Madison Co., New York,1820 Census and then to Lenox, Madison Co., New York in 1830 Census, where Mary Ann married Rensselaer Lamb. Family show up in 1830 & 1840 Census of Lenox. I have not found them in 1850 or 1860 Census, but found John in 1870 Census. He died on 1872. Appreciate any help. Richard
