Looking for parents of:
Sophronia Chesebro(spelling of last name could vary, as we all know ) born abt 1844, NY. ( Not sure where...could be Brookfield Area )
Abt. 1862 she married Charles S. Palmer ( born 19 Apr. 1836, Brookfield, NY. Charles was the son of Ira Delos Palmer and Lydia Brown)
Their Children:
Minnie Palmer born 1862 Brookfield, NY. -- married Clarence L. Gorton
Jennie Palmer born 1866 Brookfield, NY.-- married first, Charles Phillips.
Sophronia died abt. 1897 --Not able to locate an obit or place of burial for her. ( She seems to be evading me). Thought she might be with her family, whoever they are.
I don't think she left the Brookfield area but, I can't be certain.
Charles remarried Amanda Grace Ellison--daughter of Elias A. Ellison and Grace M Brown.
Charles and Amanda are said to be buried in the Brown Cemetery, Brookfield, NY
Sophronia was my 3rd great-grandmother.
Any hints as to who her family line might be, please give me a shout.
