Larry,
I am not related,but I checked the book, Pioneers of Madison County by William Tuttle aka Names and Sketches of the Pioneer Settlers of Madison County,NY and this is what the book says: " Butler, Daniel died in Nelson about 1811. Wife Hannah. Children Harvey(1804), Otis (1809),Daniel Jr. (1811). John Buck became guardian of the children. " Page 42. No maiden name listed for Hannah. I hope this helps you.
