John and Dorothy (Smith) Martin settled in Cazenovia in 1811. They were originally from Montague, Massachusetts. They had seven children. I have records of only three...John J. b.1815, Hiram b. 1822 and Albert S. b. 1828. John J. stayed in the Cazenovia area, married and had several children. Hiram and his first wife, Eliza had several children. He moved west upon her death. Albert S. Martin is my GGG Grandfather. He moved to Auburn, NY and had several children.
There are lots of details on these siblings, but if anyone has any information on the other family members, I would appreciate it.
I will be happy to share my research as well.
