I just noticed in a list of early settlers to Brookfield Madison Co NY that in 1792 there were 4 Maxson brothers. They were, Paul, Perry, Ray and John. Clark Maxson setteled there in 1799.

Iam looking for a person who might be a son to one of these fellows named Sylvester P Maxson, b 1802. SP married Almira Carandall, d/o Russel & Susanna Perkins Cradall. I believe these Crandalls settled in Brookfield betw 1811 amd 1825.
