Yes, there was, and still is. This was the "mother church" for Colgate University which began as a Baptist institution in 1819. Write directly to the church: Broad Street, Hamilton NY 13346. The archivist at Colgate U. may also have old records, as may the Madison County Historical Society in Oneida NY. [We used to live directly across the street from this church].
