Wm MAHAN m. Helen/Ellen DRISCOLL MAHAN
Known children: John MAHAN b. July 5, 1827
Mary MAHAN b. unknown
We believe Wm drown in March of 1849. Helen/Ellen Driscoll MAHAN most likely remarried. There are members of a DRISCOLL family who remain in the Cazenovia, NY area today.

1850 census shows an Ellen Mahan - Cazenovia, NY 23 year resident, additional MAHANS noted in Madison and Cazenovia. We are attempting to locate information on Wm and Helen/Ellen who are said to have been born in Ireland or Wales with William mentioned as one of the first three Irishmen to settle in the town of Cazenovia, NY. We believe Mary MAHAN remained in NY. Mary's brother,
my Grandfather, John Mahan d. in 1812 in CA.
