Seth P. Mason, Cazenovia NY early 1800s, m. Mary A

Alfred Warren (died 1882, Maryland, b. PEI, Canada) married 30 April 1864 at St. Peterís Episcopal Church rectory, Cazenovia, Madison County, New York, with Rev. Alfred P. Smith presiding, MARION JANE MASON. She was born 2 February 1842 at Cazenovia, the daughter of Seth P. and Mary Ann (_____) Mason, natives of Massachusetts and Connecticut, respectively. Marion died 25 January 1929 at Afton, Chenango County, New York. She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fabius, Onondaga County, New York, near her children Willie and Althea.

Seth P. Mason, Marionís father, was possibly the son of Abner6 Mason (Abner5, Ebenezer4-3, Thomas2, Robert1) who married Priscilla Gallup 3 October 1790 at Cazenovia. This conclusion is reached by the fact although there was another Mason family in Madison County, the family of Isaac and Asenath Prouty (he later married Thirza Moore; they resided in the town of Nelson), all of their children appear to be accounted for in various print and on-line genealogies.

If anyone knows anything about this family and their ancestors/descendants, I would be happy to share my information with you.
