We are looking for descendants of Benjamin Rogers, b. abt. 1801, New York, his father was William Rogers and mother unkown. He married Clarissa Nutt, b. 17 July 1797, in Vermont to John and Hannah Nutt.

Children of Benjamin and Clarissa:
Mary J, b. 1828
Edgar, b. 1830, Yates County, New York
Amanda, b. 1832, Livingston County, New York, (rest same Co)
Darwin, b. 1834,
Benjamin F., b. 1836,
Clarissa, b. 1838
Lee Otis, b. 20 Jan 1840
Irwin E., b. 1842

Benjamin and Clarissa and they are listed on 1840 census for Bristol Twp, Ontario County, New York and are in Ontario County, New York on 1830 and 1840 census. In 1850 they are in town of Richmond, Ontario County, New York (Rogers spelled "Rodgers"). In 1860 they are still in Richmond, New York. In 1870 and 1880, Benjamin and Clarissa are in Lima, Livingston County, New York.

We are hoping to connect with some Rogers cousins, in hopes to fill in some of our Rogers history.
