Attention: ALBERT:

Thank you so much! I am positive the first one on 32nd street was mine. I had her listed in 1880 as living on 32nd street, but no building number.

Her husband, James, died at 313 West 42nd Street. I realize that was very close to the Port of Authority I think it was. However it had to have been a tenement building as he died in an apartment on the 11th floor, of which there were 5 families living there at the time. I thought perhaps they meant 32nd street, but now I'm wondering if Jane may have kicked him out due to drunkeness (the main cause of his death). Death cert. said patient took to bed and gradually deceased. I think he'd been there from July or August until the day he died on Dec. 6. Now I need to know whose apartment that was...is there any way of discovering that info? Thanks again.
