The bad news is that there is no central location to request the certificates, they are at the individual parishes.

There is really no consistant policy about genealogy.

If you want Baptism Certificates they are usually available. The church will usually require a name and date, although I know of a few churches that have the information on index cards. These are usually the most useful because they record Marriage dates as well as others that are reported to the parish.

The same goes for burial information.

Requests for Marriage information are usually ignored.

I have found it best to ask in person, but have had some success by mail.
