In my travels, I see family photos lost in antique stores and I think that is sad. So I have decided to try and do something about it by returning as many as I can to their rightful families. So I buy photos with names and dates or places on them and list them on my webpage, so descendants of these lost souls can find them and bring them home. The thousands of photographs are mostly from the 1800's and include Tintypes, Daguerreotypes, Cabinet Cards, Carte-de-visites, Personal Picture Postcards, Photo Albums and Yearbooks.

My latest acquisition is an amazing collection of 17 cabinet card photos that have the name of every individual,
most have where they lived and some even have family descendency.
Most are doctors, two are Civil War era military men in uniform and
one is a Sec. of State.

“John Lefferts Schenck – born June 22, 1792 – died 1896 –

“Dr. Teunis Schenck of Brooklyn, New York – son of John,
