Hey Albert,

Thanks for your response. I had the item from the Eagle about an Alexander Skinner running for constable in 1851. He ran several times but I am uncertain that he is my Alexander.

The article about the missing child Alexander is encouraging. I did not include a son Alexander in my list of the senior Alexander's children in my recent email. I do have Alexander b 1849 and he would have been 4 in 1853. Thus it is possible that these two Alexanders would be my great grandfather and my grandfather's brother So, the given address of 24 Gold Street (which I think is near the Brooklyn Navy Yard) is a very good lead. I am appreciative.
