Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
My great-grandfather, Thomas Brennan, was born in Watertown on January 1,1849. His parents, John A. and Mary Quinn Brennan, emigrated from Gowran, County Kilkenny sometime between 1847 and 1849 with three other chidren - Denis (born 1842), Ellen (born 1843) and Judith (born 1846). I have information from Kilkenny on these people and would like to obtain any information on them after they came to Watertown, including any burials in the area. John may have died in 1871. Some of the family left the area during the Civil War because my grandfather John J. Brennan was born in Ontario, Canada in 1874. He and his parents moved to Chicago, Illinois prior to the early 1900s. I would be interested in knowing more about Denis, Ellen, and Judith and any of their descendants.
