I would greatly appreciate Any Historical & Genealgoy Information Regarding the Following Individuals, As Follows:
1. Seth Clark, Born ca. 1774? in Pomfret, Windham County, Connecticut.? (Uncertain as to whether that information is correct?).
Seth Clark married Asenath Corbin between 1805 - 1810 in possibly Jefferson County, New York.?
2. Aseneth Corbin was born in 1782? in Root, Montgomery County, New York. She passed away in August of 1854 in Possibly Jefferson County, New York. Her parents were Elkanah Corbin (Birth: October 23, 1752 - Death: WFT Est. 1785 - 1843) & Hannah Harlow (Birth: March 25, 1751 - Death: WFT Est. 1785 - 1846).
Much is known about Aseneth Corbin and her parents genealogy, etc... but many of the dates have not been verified. If anyone can help with those dates I would appreciate that?
Seth & Aseneth Clark had the following children:
Betsey, Susan, Lucy, Abigail, Dorcas, Chandler, and Rev. Lemuel. If there were more (Children Born to them) i would appreciate that information also.
I come from Susan Clark who married Horace Bowe of Jefferson County, New York. They eventually along with their children moved to Berrien County, Michigan, where many of the ancestors still live today.
What I do know about Seth Clark is that he was one of the early settlers of Clayton, Jefferson County, New York and that he served in the War of 1812. But not much more than that. If anyone can add more I would appreciate it???
Seth Clark passed away (according to one source) December 25, 1847 in Watertown, Jefferson County, New York. Another source puts his death date as being the year 1850 at the age of 76 years when he died. But he did die in the same place as the first source mentioned. If anyone can verfiy which date it is that he passed away, I would greatly appreciate that? Please verify as to whether he did pass away in Watertown, Jefferson County, New York also?
What I am most looking for is anyone who could please verify the parents to Seth Clark (1774? - 1850?). There are many conflicting reports that I wish to be put to rest...
Anyone with any Historical & Genealogy Information Regarding the above Individuals will be Greatly Appreciated!!!!
I Hope Someone Can Help!!!!
Thanks So Much For Your Time and Help!!!! My Sincere and Best Wishes To All!!!!
