Hello Kathy,

I'm not sure if there is a connect but, I'm a descendant of Dennis McCarthy who lived in Watertown by 1850. He was married to Ellen Field on 19 Oct. 1847 in Kingston, Ontario.
Both Dennis and Ellen were born in County Cork. Their children included: William, Michael, James, Ellen, Margaret and Catherine. Catherine was my grandmother. Dennis was by
trade, a shoemaker.
