Searching for parents of Benjamin Ellis, b. 1794 in MASS., who removed to Jefferson Co., New York abt. 1800. Benjamin m. abt. 1819 to Charlotte Arnold in Jeff. Co. son, Benjamin, Jr. m. Polly abt 1825 lived in Orleans with son Herman Eastman Ellis, b. 1848. Herman m. Olive Arnold in Hale Twp., Jones Co., Iowa in 1868. Many of Ellis/Arnold family removed to Jackson Twp., Jones Co., Iowa from NY abt 1850.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
