Sara, I can't help with the churches, but if she passed away in Watertown, you can find her death certificate from the City Clerk's Office. Now, there is a City of Watertown and a Town of Watertown, thus two different City Clerk's Offices.

Here is how to contact them both:

City of Watertown
Municipal Building
Washington St.
Watertown, NY 13601

Town of Watertown
Municipal Office
6873 Brookside Dr.
Watertown, NY 13601
FAX # 315-782-5375

Good Luck, Kathy
