French Catholic churches, 1835-1855

My family lived in Jefferson County from abt 1836 to 1855.

They lived in Redwood for part of that time, and in Watertown for the rest.

Letters indicate my GGGGGrandmother was a very devout Catholic. They would have attended French-speaking churches if possible.

does anyone know which churches served the French population during this time period? Are any of these churches still in existence? If not, who might have the baptismal, marriage, and funeral records for those churches?

Thanks.
