I'm looking for information on my great grandfather Daniel Baker and g-g-grandfather Loren Baker.
According to Daniel's obituary (I have original), he died Jan 9, 1932 in Harrisville NY at 86 years. Obit says he was born on March 3 1846 in Theresa, (Jefferson County) NY, the son of Rev & Mrs Loren(zo?)Baker. Also states Daniel was one of 22 children - 18 boys & 4 girls.
The Feb 16, 1892 Census for the town of Diana (I have copy) said that Daniel was 59 years old and was born in Canada. If this is correct, he was born in 1833 - a 13 year disparity.
I'm trying to get clarification and more information on Daniel & Loren Baker. Any help will be greatly appreciated
Daniel married Susan Renoudin of Croghan NY - no date.
