trying to help some one research BARNS Worden with having a son Thomas B. born Oct 11,1829 in NY maybe Jefferson Co. There is a Barnard Worden 1820 and 1830 census there and correct age. If ths is him he was in Ontario ~1831-1842 then his wife Betsy Corkins remarried James Defield.
My hunch is that Barns is a nickname for Barnard.
Any help appreciated
