PERMELIA MOON b. 8/30/1811, Herkimer Co., NY, USA

I am looking for any information on Permelia Moon b. 8/30/1811 in Herkimer, NY. She was married in Ionia, MI in 1845 to Dexter Arnold previously of Herkimer. Listed as a witness was a James Moon b. NY, I don't know if this was a brother or was her father?

She had a son Henry B. Moon b. abt 1836 in NY.

Now here is the problem. I don't know if Moon was even her maiden name, as her son's name was Henry B. Moon, you would assume his father's name was Moon. Henry was listed as living with Permelia and Dexter in the 1850 and 1860 MI census. Which would make him 9 years old when Permelia and Dexter married.

If anyone knows anything about either Permelia or Henry B's parentage please contact me. I will appreciate any information anyone may have.
