Dear Jim,
I am researching the John Kelly who held a patent with your James Henderson in 1737 in Albany County, New York, probably more than one.
John Kelly/Kelley married Catalina Benson, sister to Tysje Benson daughters of Dirk Benson, a wealthy Dutch merchant of New York city.
John Kelly is said to come from Galway or Roscommon County, Ireland circa 1717. He lived near the Hendersons. This John became a very wealthy land speculator in New York State. Can you add anything to this John Kelley. Any tidbits will help.
May I ask where on-line can I find the will of James Henderson?
