Looking for any help in finding parents of Daniel B. Catlin, b. about 1808 in New York State and his wife, Betsey. Could Daniel's parents be James and Phoebe Catlin? They were living in Ticonderoga in 1850 census, but later moved to Long Lake in Hamilton County.

I'm descended from Laura (Cole) Catlin and found the connection to Daniel Catlin in this biographical excerpt:
Darius B. Squires
On November 10, 1863, Mr. Squires was married to Phoebe E. Catlin, of Ticonderoga, daughter of Daniel B. Catlin, a prosperous farmer of that town. Mr. Catlin was the father of three children, two of whom are living, namely: Mrs. Squires; and Mrs. Laura Cole, of Long Lake. He survived his wife some years, and died at the age of eighty-nine.
