Annie Mead was b. 10 March 1854 and d. 22 Nov. 1930, age. 76, bur. Chester Rural Cem. at Chestertown, Warren Co. NY
The petition for probate of her will of 13 Dec. 1923, which left $100 in trust to the cemetery and the rest to James F. Kiley of Glens Falls, lists these survivors:
Mary Nelson, sister, of Overland Park KA,
and these nieces and nephews:
George Starbuck of Whitehall NY,
Grace Hunt of Indian Lake NY,
Fred Starbuck of Reno NV (but "now of Indian Lake"),
Bertha McCormick of Indian Lake,
Ina Chadderdon of Acra NY,
Thomas Starbuck of Indian Lake,
Margia Burgess of Indian Lake,
Mary Payne of North Creek
and Margaret Forte of Mahwah NY.
Ann E. Connington, age. 1 and b. Chester, was listed as child of Martin Connington, 45, b. Ireland, and Mary Connington, his wife, 21, also b. Ireland, in the 1855 census of Chester, Warren Co, NY. Parents died possibly from diptheria.
Also in household was William Connington, 3, b. Chester.
In 1865 census, Anna E. Mead, age. 11, is listed as adopted dau. in household of Edward B. Mead and Sarah K. Mead at Chester.
