I am looking for leads on Henry H. Haynor (spelling of last name may vary), born about 1793, very likely somewhere in New York State; and/or his father, handed down as Abram Haynor, perhaps born in Alsace-Lorrain, Europe, but also later indicated as residing somewhere in New York. Abram may also have been a Loyalist, or even Hessian, during the Revolutionary War.
My last known specific location for either of them in New York State was for Henry at Saratoga, Saratoga County, New York, where he married Roxy M. Clements in January of 1824, and they are are listed as residing at Saratoga, Saratoga County (actually Victory Mills)in the census of 1830. I do not find either Henry or Abram in Saratoga County before 1824, and believe they (or at least Henry) migrated to that county from elsewhere in the state.
I would like to find more about them during their New York days and/or earlier. I would appreciate any clues or pointers, and would be glad to exchange what information I have on the Haynors.
