Looking for anyone who as information about this familly:
Amasa S. Carlisle , b.Goshen, Vt. 1816. He m. 1839/40, Martha B. (b. 1820). They lived in Addison County Vermont in 1840. In 1850 they lived in Ticonderoga, NY near Crown Point in Essex County. Amasa was a stone mason. In 1860 they owned real estate valued at $800 and had $250 in personal property. In 1872, Amasa was listed on the tax list fo Crown Point. In 1880, Amasa was living with his son Lewis and family in Ticonderoga. Amasa was employed as a stone mason, as 64 yrs old and a widower. (Children: (Children: (1) Martha B., b. Vt, 1840; (2) Silence A., b. NY, 1846; (3) Lewis B., b. NY, 1848. He m. Zelma H. Renne (b. NY, 1845). They were both employed as school teachers in Crown Point, NY in 1880, where they lived. Zelma's mother Lydia Renne (age 73, a widow), and Lewis' father Amasa (age 65, widower) were boarding with them; (3) Salina B., b. NY, 1855).
