I am trying to locate my 3 time great grandfather's marriage license from Alden New York. Either at the county level or church level. His name is John Schulenberg. He married Barbara Walter. Barbara was born August 8, 1831. John was born January 2, 1828?. I have found variations of John's last name to be spelt as Schlenberger or Schalenburg. I am curious to see who his parents are and to find out if he had any other siblings. I tried contacting St John the Baptist Parish in Alden several months ago. Gave them the information I was looking for and they never did return with any information.
Any suggestions or ideas of where else to look.
