Looking for info on John Adam Layer b. 1831 in Germany, married Raeinia b. 1838 also of Germany.

They lived at 60 Pratt Street, Buffalo, NY

They had 5 children:

Charles b 1866
Eva b 1868 d 1889
Carolin b 1870
Margaret b 1874 d 1951
John b. 1876 d 1917 in AZ

John Adam is supposedly buried at the "Old Soldiers Home" in Bath, NY. He served in the Civil War between 1861-1864
