Seeking parents of Daniel Barlow and his wife Mary of S. Amenia, Dutchess Co. Their daughter, Mary, married Elihu Vail, my 3rd g grandfather about 1810 in Poughkeepsie. I believe the marriage took place at the First Reformed Dutch Church. Wondering is Daniel is descended from the Peleg Barlow line? My line begins in 1719 with Nehemiah Veal then, John, Elihu, Edward Thomas Sr., Percy Eugene, Percy Edward, and finally my father Raymond Edward. From John on down all were born in Dutchess Co., New York.
