Rose family of Petty, Inverness, Scotland

Hi Jennie,
I have an interest in a Rose family of Newton and Ballinuran, Petty, Inverness. The family includes Alexander Rose b. 1768 Ballinuran, Croy, Inverness.
It would seem from my research that this family - together with their parents Hugh Rose b.1738/Marjorie Clark b.1736 - emigrated to Delaware County, New York State, USA in 1773. Some later migrated again into Canada.
There is good reason to believe that this family is a cadet line of the Roses of Kilravock. Research continues.
There is much more to be said. If you receive this message and have continued interest I'd be glad to share.
Regards. George
