Delilah Dingey, Stamford NY 1798

Looking for any info on Delilah Dingey, who probably lived in Stamford, Delaware County, NY in 1798. In November 1798, William Halstead of Stamford was accused of conceiving a child out of wedlock with Delilah Dingey in the General Session of the Court before Justice Hugh Rose Sr. The outcome of his trial is unknown, however, three months later, William Halstead is shown in indexes as suing Hugh Rose Sr. Again, the outcome of this action is unknown. Did William Halstead sue the judge for wrongful prosecution? Did he marry Delilah? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
