George McCumber from Argyle, Washington Co., NY located in Preble @1820. His son Humphrey arrived in @1830. He was from Fort Edward. We believe George McCumber was born in R.I. and had 2 wives. Peace Richmond and Thankful Geer. Peace died after the birth of 4 children and George and Thankful had quite a number more. We have not been able to connect George with Christopher.
