Sarah Chase & Michael Hollenbeck -Oneida & Cortland Counties, NY 1820's - 1840's

I have a Michael (Hallenback) Hollenbeck living in Westmoreland, Oneida County in 1820. I also have a Joseph Hollenbeck (b. 28 Apr 1801) who lived in Westmoreland, Oneida County, NY in 1830. Michael Hollenbeck is also there in Westmoreland, Oneida County in 1830. In 1840 Joseph (Hollenback) had moved to Randolph, Crawford County, PA.

As was once posted: Michael married Sarah Chase as second wife found living in Oneida County in 1820 & 1830. Then apparently moved his family in 1838 to Cortland County, NY. Michael Hollenbeck was living in Cortland County, NY in 1840, where he & his wife apparently both died in 1846.

Also living in this same area was Aaron Couch who was later found in Butler County, Iowa in 1856, along with Michael Hollenbeck Jr. & Wilson Couch and his wife, Hannah Ann Hollenbeck, daughter to Michael Hollenbeck Sr.

Michael Hollenbeck Jr. later became sheriff in Butler County, Iowa. Hannah Ann Hollenbeck was born on 04 Feb 1820 in Oneida County, NY.

As Joseph Hollenbeck's son, William (Willard) Hollenbeck (b. 1828 in NY) was living in Butler County in 1856 and throughout the mid 1860's, along with his sister Hannah Hollenbeck (b. 11 May 1838 in PA) and her husband, Samuel Vine, I wonder about the possible connection between these two siblings, son & daughter of my Joseph Hollenbeck & Michael Hollenbeck Jr. & his sister Hannah Ann Vine. William Hollenbeck's brother, Horatio Hollenbeck's middle name was Michael.

Joseph's next eldest son was Horatio Michael Hollenbeck (b. 04 May 1834 in NY). Because of the unusual name Horatio, I wonder if there might be a connection between Mary Hollenbeck, wife of Horatio B. Hubbard & this family? As there is record of a Mary Hollenbeck married to a Horatio (Hoyt) B. Hubbard.

I can't help but speculate that these Hollenbecks are related. Can anyone clarify and or add to this information?
