Hi Nan, I took you query to the Cortland Co. Hist. Soc. to see what I could find out for you. They have a book on the county farm. The info. they found you probably already have but here it is: Silas Huntley, b. New Berlin, Chenango Co., NY; Father b. Lyon, Ct.; Mother b. Chenango Co., NY; Admitted into County Home Sept. 17, 1910; Died Dec. 15, 1912; Grandson Franklyn Cooley of DeRuyter; Wife Mary Ann b. Otselic, Chenango Co., NY; Admitted into County Home Sept. 17, 1910; Discharged Nov. 8, 1913; Has sister Mrs. Wm. D. Caldwell of E. Freetown. We checked to see if they had a record of burial but did not find anything. We could only assume that he was burried at the county home in an unmarked grave. If there is anything more I can try to help you find, let me know.
