The only home I can recall in Cortland was the Children's Home on Port Watson Street, closed in early 1950's. Do not recall who sponsored the facility, probably had about 25 children at the time of closing. My father worked there for a while, used to relate the weekly trip to the movie theater with the children. Will contact you if I find more.
