The 1927 Cortland directory shows a Henry Holland livig at 13 Franklin Ave., as a border. He is shown as being employed at the Brewer-Tichner foundry. The foundry is as noisy as ever, I just returned from a trip to NY, specifically Cortland. The directoru also shows some Hollands living in Homer, just 4 miles from Cortland. There is an Arthur S. Holland, who ran a second hand store at 46 James Street, Homer. His wife Esther is also shown, as an employee of Thurlow Blackman & Son. Not sure what that business was, will let you know if I find it.
