Noticed your message on the forum. Our family (Elihu and Jerusha Holland,lived in the Solon area from 1800-1850. In one of the letters I have from John Holland to his brother, Rev. Elihu G. Holland, John is looking for the family papers, and mentions that he may have left them in the possession of Dave and Almira Wheeler, "before discovering the extent of their meaning". Elihu died in 1849 and Jerusha in 1851. Apparently the homestead was broken up shortly after. If you know any thing about these papers, or have ever heard of the Holland family, please drop me a line. Thank you. When I get a chance, I will dig up this letter.
