Alphonsine Trudeau 1849 Clinton NY

I am doing a genealogy research on my Great Grandmother whom my father says is full blood American Indian. She was born Alphonsine Trudeau to Julian/Julien/Julias Trudeau and Olive/Olivia Bourdou on 11/8/1849 in Clinton, NY. She married my Great Grandfather Gilbert Albert Ladouceur (dit)Robistow on 1/7/1869 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Chateaugay,NY. My Grandfather is Suplene Robistow born 2/11/1877 in Churubusco, NY. She also had two sisters, Phebe (born around 1846 in Canada) and Matilda Maria(born around 1856). Would you have any information (or know where to point me)that would help?

By the way what does (dit) mean? LOL

Thank you so much
Jane Andracchio
