Joseph Bray / Mary Quelch (Welch) marriage ca 1863/1864

I am trying to track down the marriage record for Joseph Bray, b. ca 1834 and Mary Quelch (Welch in some records), b. ca 1834-1840. I believe they may have been married in the Catholic Church between August 1863 and August 1864. I've checked the Diocese of Burlington and they have been unable to locate a copy of a marriage record for them. There were able to locate baptismal records for their children beginning with the first Ellen, who was born in 1864.

My next possibility is that they were married somewhere near Plattsburgh. I know that Joseph Bray was headed there when he left Canada in Aug 1863. I also found that there was a Quelch family living in Clinton Co. around that time. While Mary is not listed on the 1860 census with the family, it may be that she was a family member who immigrated around 1861.

Is there anyone with access to the Catholic Church or other Clinton Co. marriage records who could see if a marriage shows up for Joseph and Mary?

Also, is anyone familiar with the Quelch family. Mary was supposedly born in Ireland ca. 1834 to 1840 depending on which census or other record is being used. Her parents are not listed on her death record.

Any help is appreciate. Thanks, Victoria
