Hi Carolyn,

My wife had a Murray ancestor that was a brickwall for me for years ... recently I learned that in Canada the French surname turned out to be Marie or Marre ... It never occured to me before to look under Marie for Murray!

It was a brickwall because I never looked for the right name. I hope this helps.
