Is there an English version of the name Domitille? For instance, might it be Matilde?

The Champaign family came to Peru, NY in the mid 1830s from Longueuil area of Quebec. Domitille was born 1833 in Longueuil. She is among several Champaign/Champagne children who remain "unfound". Her siblings are: Jane b. 1839 in Peru; Caroline b. 1842 Peru; and Franklin b. 1847 in Peru.

Thanks.

Forrest
