Sorry to say I don't it's still just a "hunch" at this point,we've ruled out several lines of who my William doesn't belong to,but not a thing set in stone! We figure since his wife,Harriet and her family lived in Chenango Co,and his sister in law married there, then they all showed up at the same time in Michigan, that he most likely is connected to Thomas and Lucy's family We're sure we have him in 1840 in Jackson Co MI,with his wife and daughters,as his Mother in LAw bought property there in 1838,and we feel sure they're all togather. His oldest daughter was born abt 1836 in PA (while they were traveling?) We also know he was alive 9 months prior to March 21, 1845 (and personally I think he was alive when my Nathaiel was born,or Harriet would've named the boy after his Dad,but instead named him after her deceased Dad) But in 1850 Harriets minus one daughter and Husband, but has a son.Nathaniels death cert gives both parents names, however in the 1845-50 timeframe Michigan didn't yet have Death Certs,so we're kind of at a loss, unless I can somehow connect him with dates to one of Thomas and Lucy's children.Lori
