I would be very interested in hearing more about what you have learned regarding the Barber, Brooks and Record/Rickard families in R.I and N.Y. The Brooks and Barbers of my line moved from Chenango Co. to DeKalb Co., IL sometime around the 1850's, and about 10 or 15 years later, on to Chickasaw and Floyd Cos. Iowa.
